Job Overview

As a key technical leader, you will contribute to the concept, design, implementation, validation, release to production, and customer adoption of new high power and precision ATE instrumentation.

Responsibilities
  • Identify key areas of enabling technology investment required to make our product visions a reality.
  • Define and advocate for the funding for those investments.
  • Participate and guide technical teams in a disciplined approach to design that proceeds efficiently from analysis->simulation->prototyping->first article->product release.
  • Clearly articulate design trade-offs available to navigate complex design challenges.
  • Solve and/or guide technical teams through the solution of complex multi-disciplinary problems.
  • Provide on the job training and coaching to less senior engineers.
  • Take complex, ill-defined problems and break them down into concrete actionable steps to reduce risk.
  • Cleary define the mitigations to technical risk.
  • Communicate the risk contingencies to key stakeholders in the organization.
Requirements
  • Recognized technical contributor in several of the following subject areas: Analog circuits, digital and analog control loop theory and application, developing concepts for differentiated products, switched-mode power supply design, high performance data acquisition, extremely high complexity mixed signal pcb design, advanced packaging, magnetics theory and application, ultra-low noise design, high speed signal integrity and power integrity, mixed signal simulation, familiarity with software programming concepts.
