Pharmacy Technician Supervisor II Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician Supervisor II to join our team at BrightSpring Health Services. As a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor II, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our pharmacy, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our pharmacy meets the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Pharmacy Director to implement workflow and productivity measures that achieve performance targets and customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with the Pharmacy Director and pharmacy staff to execute company initiatives, core processes, and quality initiatives to improve the overall quality of service to our customers.
  • Ensure the business unit is in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws/pharmacy regulations and corporate compliance program.
  • Assist in managing pharmacy personnel issues in conjunction with the Pharmacy Director.
  • Work with Client Services and Sales team to effectively communicate with customers (DONs, Administrators, Staff RNs) and resolve customer issues.
  • Monitor the purchasing and inventory supply for the pharmacy to ensure goals are being met (inventory turns, preferred products, generics, TI, controlled drug monitoring).

Requirements:

  • Licenses/Certifications: As required by government regulations and business needs.
  • Education: High school diploma with a minimum of five years management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Pharmacy setting (LTC preferred).

Salary Range:

USD $32.56 / Hour
