Job Summary:
Maintenance Technician II

This is a mid-level position designed for those who wish to continue developing their skills and continue their career journey in the maintenance field. You will work under supervision, performing mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance on equipment in accordance with manufacturer's manuals, diagrams, sketches, etc.

Responsibilities:
  • Support and back up other team members as directed by leadership
  • Document work and update records in CMMS
  • Assure compliance with 5S and housekeeping standards
  • Provide inputs in CI activities-processes, results, and cost savings
  • Perform checks of alignment and geometric accuracy
  • Set up and operate simple machining operations including but not limited to: lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts
  • Perform basic welding tasks


Requirements:
To be seriously considered for this role, the successful candidate should have the following regarding:
  • Experience: 3 plus years in a similar role with comparable goals and responsibilities
  • Education: High school diploma (or equivalent), Industrial Maintenance Technician or similar program is not required but would be strongly encouraged
  • Skills: Successful candidates have basic mechanical skills with the aptitude to learn advanced skills and electrical skills
  • Experience with Siemens controllers
  • Experience working on G&L and Cincinnati machines
  • Characteristics: This position is supervised; however, the successful candidate should have the ability to work independently or with a team while carrying out verbal and written instructions from supervisor
  • Other requirements: Must have a valid state driver's license, vehicle insurance and dependable vehicle
