About the Opportunity

We are seeking a results-driven Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Ford Motor Company. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and coach skilled trades and maintenance personnel, create a safety culture, and implement workplace policies.

Estimated Salary: $83,000 - $110,000 per year

Job Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor position is a supervisory leadership role that requires strong leadership and communication skills. You will work closely with hourly team members, union representatives, and management teams to achieve our goals.

Your ability to lead and motivate teams, create a safe work environment, and implement effective policies will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a safety culture and implement workplace policies
  • Lead/coach skilled trades/maintenance personnel in all aspects of asset management, including asset availability, cycle time, preventative maintenance, predictive and condition-based monitoring technologies
  • Build strong relationships with hourly team members, union, and management teams
  • Communicate effectively with hourly team members, leaders, business partners, and customers
  • Evaluate team member performance and encourage continuous improvement
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of supervisory and/or manufacturing experience
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends
  • Fundamental working knowledge of PLC logic and controls
  • Mechanical aptitude
