Troon Golf is seeking an exceptional leader to serve as its Executive Director. This key role oversees the overall operation of the club, ensuring exceptional member experiences and fostering strong relationships with employees, community, government, and industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive Business Growth: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, increase revenue, and enhance member satisfaction.
- Lead High-Performing Teams: Motivate, direct, train, and manage staff members to achieve high performance standards, promoting a culture of courtesy, friendliness, and promptness.
- Operational Excellence: Develop and implement operational policies, programs, and procedures to drive business success, ensuring alignment with the club's goals, objectives, and budget.
- Financial Management: Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and take corrective action as needed to ensure the club's financial health.
- Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with the Board of Directors to develop long-range and annual business plans, ensuring compliance with corporate and community policies.
- Organizational Development: Develop and maintain a sound organizational plan, initiating improvements as necessary to drive business success.
- Quality Control: Coordinate with department managers to ensure high-quality products and services, meeting member and guest expectations.
- Performance Metrics: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), driving continuous improvement and excellence.
- Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality or related field preferred.
- Experience: Previous management experience in club and association operations, with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience.
- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership experience, with a strong track record of driving business growth and member satisfaction.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively, create written correspondence, and delegate responsibilities.
- Technical Skills: Computer literacy and math skills essential for budgeting and cost analysis.
- Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand, talk, and hear; frequently required to walk, use hands, and reach.
- Occasional Demands: Occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, and crouch; must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Visual Requirements: Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
