Security Officer

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a skilled Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our clients' properties and ensuring the safety of their employees, patients, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
- MUST ALREADY HAVE a PA ACT 235 CERTIFICATION (Pennsylvania Only).
- Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Must have 3+ years combined of armed security/law enforcement/military experience or the equivalent.
- Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work outdoors in the elements.
- Must be comfortable with dealing with transient and inebriated populations.
- Must have intermediate computer skills.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security/safety training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- Post offer, must be able to successfully complete the training requirement and obtain a Management of Aggressive Behavior certification.
