Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to work in a correctional setting. As a Nurse Practitioner with Supplemental Health Care, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse population and make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide primary and specialty healthcare services to inmates in correctional facilities
  • Conduct medical evaluations, diagnose and treat illnesses, and prescribe medications as needed
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate medical records
Requirements:
  • Active Ohio Nurse Practitioner License or Compact State Nursing License
  • Minimum 1-year prior nursing experience
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • Corrections nursing experience is a plus
