Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the creation, monitoring, routing, and finalization of shipping loads.
  • Manage the dispatch of loads while adhering to the outbound schedule.
  • Professionally schedule incoming appointments.
  • Ensure that customer service aligns with our company standards.
  • Process receipts for various types of loads, including imports and domestic shipments.
  • Maintain accurate records as required.
  • Prepare all necessary shipping documentation and ensure that any changes made during loading are accurately reflected on the drivers' packing lists.
  • Assist with other logistical tasks as needed.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, best practices, and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications

Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Proficient in basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • At least one year of relevant experience or training; familiarity with order processing systems, WMS systems, and Microsoft Office is preferred.
Physical and Environmental Requirements
  • Regularly required to sit, talk, and hear; occasionally required to stand, walk, and use hands for various tasks.
  • Must be able to lift and carry weights ranging from 20 to 30 lbs; on rare occasions, may need to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.
  • The work environment may include exposure to moving mechanical parts and moderate noise levels.
