Laundry Specialist

Kensington Senior Living, LLC is seeking a Laundry Attendant to join our team. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for washing and drying laundry, including residents' personal garments, residents' linens, community linens, and other laundry in a manner that will not damage either machines or contents.

The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal skills and communication abilities, as well as strong time management and organizational skills. They will also have knowledge of basic operations of laundry equipment and chemical use.

• Sorts stained and contaminated linens as assigned, pre-soak, treat, and process them as needed to maximize recovery of useful material.
• Maintains records of condemned linen for review by the Director of Environmental Services.
• Responsible for the proper operation and care of laundry equipment, maintains clean laundry work area and equipment, and reports equipment malfunction to the Environmental Services Manager.
