Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Part-time Holiday Sales Associate to join our TJ Maxx team. As a Sales Floor Team Member, you will be responsible for delivering a world-class customer experience, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and adhering to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with customers and embodying the TJ Maxx customer experience philosophy.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, adhering to all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards.
  • Process customer purchases and returns accurately, handling cash and credit transactions with precision.
  • Promote credit and loyalty programs to customers, driving sales and customer loyalty.
  • Participate in store recovery and maintenance, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues.
  • Support and participate in shrink reduction goals and programs, maintaining a secure and efficient store environment.
  • Work effectively with peers and supervisors, communicating clearly and responding to feedback.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering a world-class customer experience.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, supporting business needs and adapting to changing circumstances.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Capable of lifting heavy objects, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Previous retail customer experience preferred, but not required.
