Emory University is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Hematologist to join our esteemed team at the Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorders Center of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. The successful candidate will join one of the strongest pediatric hematology/oncology programs in the country, with a rich and collaborative environment for basic, clinical, and translational research.

The Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorders Center provides a diverse faculty, with 32 members, including 17 basic research-focused and 15 advance practice providers. We have close affiliations with research investigators within the Winship Cancer Institute, Emory University, and the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a willingness to collaborate across departmental or center boundaries is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exemplary clinical service and assure that patients cared for by you receive only the highest quality care.
  • Devote 70-90% to clinical responsibilities, with the remaining effort, depending upon research interests and funding, divided among the Aflac Clinics and outpatient facilities at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
  • Provide clinical coverage at all locations that the Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorders Center at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta serves.

Requirements:

  • MD, MD/PhD, or DO degrees
  • Must be Board Certified in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology
  • A history of clinical excellence/achievement
  • A strong history of mentorship of trainees and junior faculty to support growth in research and scholarship
