Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multidisciplinary Care Team Lead to join our team at Parkland Health and Hospital System. This role is responsible for the leadership and management of our multidisciplinary care teams, including ECMO specialists, intensivists, and other healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care and ECMO, with excellent leadership and communication skills.

About Our Multidisciplinary Care Teams
Our multidisciplinary care teams work closely together to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve optimal outcomes. Our teams include ECMO specialists, intensivists, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals who collaborate to provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients.

Job Responsibilities
As a Multidisciplinary Care Team Lead, you will be responsible for:
  • Leading and managing our multidisciplinary care teams, including ECMO specialists, intensivists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and protocols to improve patient care and safety.
  • Maintaining and implementing knowledge of all Parkland, The Joint Commission, and clinical area rules, regulations, policies, procedures, laws, and guidelines.
  • Collaborating with staff, physicians, administration, and risk management to evaluate and improve patient services.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • At least 7 years of critical care and ECMO experience.
  • Current RN license or temporary RN license from the Texas Board of Nursing; or, valid Compact RN license OR/Licensed Perfusionist OR/Licensed Respiratory Therapist.
  • Current healthcare provider CPR course completion card from one of the following: American Heart Association, American Red Cross, Military Training Network.
  • Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification on hire or placement in the role.

As an employee of Parkland Health and Hospital System, you will enjoy a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $180,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and continuing education opportunities. Estimated annual salary: $155,000 - $165,000.
