Key Responsibilities- Transportation of Medical Supplies: Safely drive and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail, and related materials in a company-owned vehicle.
- Loading and Unloading: Load and unload company vehicles with appropriate equipment, ensuring efficient and safe transportation.
- Tracking and Scanning: Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items throughout the transportation cycle.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, neat, and orderly vehicle.
- Teamwork and Communication: Demonstrate teamwork, cooperation, and adaptability with teammates and clients, building a collaborative MedSpeed team culture.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Relevant industry/driving experience is a plus.
- Customer Service: Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Age and License: Must be 19 years of age with an active driver's license for 3 years.
- Driving History: Must have an excellent driving history.
- Technology Familiarity: Familiarity working with and adapting to technology.
- Drug and Alcohol Screening: Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screens.
- COVID-19 Vaccination: Proof of COVID-19 vaccination depending on location and local mandates.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, lift items off storage racks, and be comfortable with walking and standing for long periods of time.
