Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Wood plc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our mobile and stationary equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a wide range of mobile and stationary equipment, including front end loaders, forklifts, cranes, pumps, stationary engines, and generators.
  • Conduct inspections to identify defects or required repairs and advise the Garage Mechanic Supervisor accordingly.
  • Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to all safety standards.
  • Assist with administrative duties related to maintenance of mobile and stationary equipment.
  • Assist in preparing preventative and predictive maintenance schedules.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

  • Proficient knowledge of procedures for the repair and maintenance of mobile and stationary equipment.
  • Knowledge of mobile and stationary preventative and predictive maintenance schedules and programs.
  • Ability to operate required tools in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
