About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist with a passion for delivering compassionate care to join our team at Ascension Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village, IL. This is a full-time day shift position that requires strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting diagnostic scans, preparing patients for procedures, and assisting radiologists during imaging exams. Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic imaging exams using CT, MRI, and fluoroscopy equipment
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and selecting technical parameters
  • Administer contrast media and medications according to established protocols
  • Monitor patients during procedures and report any abnormalities to radiologists
  • Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain accurate records
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • BLS certification within 1 month of hire date
  • Radiologic Technologist certification from ARRT or equivalent
  • 2 years of cumulative experience in medical imaging or equivalent
