At Pinehurst Surgical Clinic PA, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our team. This role will play a vital part in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Job Overview

The Surgical Technologist will be responsible for assisting physicians and other healthcare professionals during surgical procedures, as well as providing support with administrative tasks. Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong commitment to patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures, maintaining a safe and efficient operating room environment.
  • Prepare patients for surgery, including verifying consent forms, positioning equipment, and ensuring proper sterile technique.
  • Coordinate with nurses and other staff members to ensure seamless workflow and efficient use of resources.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, surgical procedures, and inventory management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Surgical Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Prior experience in a surgical setting, preferably in ENT or plastics.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000-$85,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
