Position Overview:


Serra Rochester Hills is in search of a dedicated and skilled Automotive Express Service Technician to become a vital part of our team.

This role is a full-time hourly position within the dynamic automotive sector.

As an Express Service Technician, you will be essential in delivering prompt and high-quality service to our clientele.

This position focuses on individual contributions, where you will be tasked with executing routine maintenance and fundamental repairs on various vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance activities such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements on vehicles
  • Perform basic repairs including battery replacements, brake pad changes, and fluid flushes
  • Record all services performed using our electronic documentation systems
  • Engage with Service Advisors and customers regarding any additional required services
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times
  • Follow all safety guidelines and regulations
  • Enhance skills and knowledge through ongoing training and development initiatives
  • Support other tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience as an Automotive Express Service Technician preferred
  • Basic understanding of automotive systems and components
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
  • Strong attention to detail and effective time management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record
