Job Summary

The Surgical Technologist will provide expert assistance to the surgeon, maintaining a sterile field during surgical procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of surgical instrumentation, anatomy, and physiology.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety
  • Prepare and assemble sterile supplies and instruments
  • Handle sterile and contaminated items properly
  • Demonstrate knowledge of surgical instrumentation
  • Prepare operating rooms with equipment and supplies
  • Anticipate and respond to procedure needs
  • Protect patient privacy and adhere to HIPAA standards
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • Certification or Registry as a Surgical Technologist (state-dependent)
  • One year of OR scrub experience
  • CPR certification within 6 months of hire
Work Environment

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with exposure to infectious materials, biological fluids, and occasional exposure to fumes, chemicals, and radiation risk.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $38.00 to $40.00 per hour, with benefit offerings including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, and a 401K plan.
