Role Summary and Responsibilities
As a Supervisor of Respiratory Therapy, you will be responsible for coordinating clinical, managerial, and operational activities, providing leadership in patient care within the framework established by the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board. You will oversee clinical practices and patient care delivery, utilizing problem-solving and collaboration skills both independently and in conjunction with the Respiratory Director or Manager.

Qualifications Required
Education:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy, Business Administration, or Healthcare Administration, or enrollment in an accredited Bachelor's program with completion within three years of hiring.
- Graduation from a CoARC-approved Respiratory Program and NBRC National Certification in a specialty area within one year of assuming the role.

Preferred Education:
- A Master's Degree in Respiratory Therapy, Business Administration, or Healthcare Administration.

Licenses and Certifications:
- North Carolina Board of Respiratory Care RCP License, BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP.

Experience:
- A minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience in a hospital setting, particularly in critical care, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.

Preferred Experience:
- Previous supervisory experience is advantageous.
