GENERAL SUMMARY

The Production Team Associate is responsible for the operation of machinery, adherence to safety protocols, and ensuring production efficiency according to job schedules. This role requires adaptability to switch between different operational areas and machinery as needed throughout the workday.

COMPANY STANDARDS

  • Maintains consistent attendance and punctuality to meet daily production needs. All work is performed on-site.
  • Adheres to safety regulations and utilizes required protective equipment; promptly reports any safety issues to management.
  • Conducts job responsibilities in alignment with the company’s mission, policies, and applicable laws.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Operates various manufacturing equipment, including automated machines, injection molding equipment, digital scales, and packaging machinery.
  2. Prepares for repeat jobs that do not necessitate tooling. Loads and unloads machinery and may perform basic adjustments and maintenance once trained.
  3. Manually assembles and packages products as directed, meeting the productivity standards set for assigned tasks.
  4. Conducts quality checks on personal work and that of the assigned area.
  5. Keeps basic production records, including quantities produced and inventory levels.
  6. Assists in maintaining tools, equipment, and materials used in production tasks.
  7. Ensures a clean and organized work environment.
  8. Informs the Team Lead or Supervisor when assistance is needed.
  9. When assigned, performs material handling tasks, including moving raw materials and transferring finished goods.
  10. Participates in all required training and attends scheduled meetings.
  11. Represents the company positively, treating all individuals with respect and dignity.
  12. Performs additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED preferred; one year of experience in a manufacturing setting is advantageous but not mandatory.

KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS

Basic reading and comprehension skills, ability to follow written instructions, and basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) are required.

Basic computer skills for data entry and report utilization are necessary.

Ability to follow verbal instructions and communicate effectively is essential.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Job assignments primarily occur indoors, with potential for movement across various production areas.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
