We are seeking a skilled and dedicated ICU Registered Nurse to join our team as a travel nurse in the Philadelphia area. Our client is a 150+ bed hospital located near Philadelphia, providing medical, surgical, and emergency care to the community.
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience as a staff RN in an acute care hospital, with a preference for critical care experience. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification are also preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice
- Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel
- Communicate with physicians about changes in patient clinical condition
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Completion of Critical Care Course preferred
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current
