This position is a vital part of the Systems Engineering team, responsible for the seamless integration of the RISE Open Fan engine into the flight test demonstrator aircraft.

Role and Responsibilities
The individual in this role will work closely with the Systems team, flight test operations, and external partners in the following areas:

  • Interface Control Documents: Facilitate negotiations between internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure a comprehensive framework.
  • Architecture Design: Lead the design of engine-to-aircraft interfaces, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • System-Level Integration: Oversee integration activities, considering system interactions and ensuring digital models are precise.
  • Risk Management: Conduct system-level risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.

Component and Product Integration
This role encompasses activities that involve multiple components, focusing on maximizing performance and operability. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing product and system requirements, specifications, and validation activities.
  • Defining product requirements for modules and components, ensuring alignment with subcontractors and partner teams.
  • Driving critical-to-quality (CTQ) and risk trades within design teams.
  • Overseeing product configuration and control systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in Systems Engineering.

Desired Skills

  • Master's degree in engineering.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with external partners.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Capability to analyze and resolve complex problems.
  • Established project management skills.
