Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

At RAYUS Radiology, we're challenging the status quo in radiology by making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. We're seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team, where you'll operate assigned scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes. Your patient-centered approach will provide MRI services within professional standards and with excellent customer service. With a part-time schedule of 30-39 hours, including day, evening, weekend, and on-call shifts, this role offers flexibility and work-life balance. Plus, enjoy a competitive salary of $ $75,000 per year, a one-time sign-on bonus of $2,500, and potential relocation assistance.
Key Responsibilities:- Patient MRI Imaging (90%):
- Screen patients before exams for precautions or contradictions using two patient identifiers.
- Explain and prepare patients for MRI procedures, ensuring correct positioning and scanner settings.
- Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated body parts with minimal supervision.
- Adjust scan parameters correctly and as needed.
- Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, customers, and peers.
- FOLLOW Physicians' orders precisely and adhere to safety regulations.
- Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Assist with maintaining updated imaging protocol manuals and software upgrades.
- Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as necessary.
- Train new associates and provide technical expertise as applicable.
