Job Overview

Access Dubuque is in search of skilled Culinary Professionals to meet our diverse dining requirements. Our Cooks are responsible for both standard and specialized food preparation tasks, which include cooking meals to order and creating unique dishes. In addition, they will mentor and supervise student workers, respond to inquiries, and share knowledge regarding food preparation and related tasks.

As leaders in maintaining cleanliness, our Cooks ensure compliance with health inspections and the upkeep of kitchen equipment and workspaces. All Dining Services personnel strictly follow federal, state, and local food safety regulations, as well as organizational policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in food service
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, nights, and weekends
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
