Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Steward Health Care. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing total respiratory care for patients with varying degrees of respiratory deficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides diagnostic testing and therapeutic procedures for patients with respiratory deficiencies
  • Assists in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with pulmonary disorders
  • Collects and analyzes sputum, blood, and breath specimens to determine levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other gases
  • Measures the lung capacity of a patient to determine if there is impaired function
Requirements:
  • Current/Active Florida Certified Respiratory Therapist License (TT)
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
