Forestry Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consulting Utility Forester to join our team at Eocene Environmental Group, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of power to our customers.

• Contact property owners and public agencies to discuss pruning and removal of trees and brush.
• Conduct thorough tree and brush inventories to identify potential hazards.
• Evaluate and inspect trees for potential hazards and develop plans for mitigation.
• Manage data and ensure accurate records are kept.
• Ensure the safety of employees and the public by enforcing on-the-job safety practices.
• Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

• Degree in forestry or related field and/or experience in utility line clearance.
• Species identification skills and knowledge of invasive species.
• Ability to obtain ISA Arborist Certification within 12 months.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to travel and work in rugged terrain and inclement weather.
• Proficient in map navigation skills and Microsoft Office.
