About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Cook to join our team at AEG. As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality pastry and baked goods for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and bake a variety of pastry and baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and breads.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to enhance our culinary offerings.
  • Work closely with our culinary team to ensure that all menu items meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with our events team to provide customized pastry and baked goods for special events and functions.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a high-volume bakery or pastry kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry and baking techniques, including yeast dough production and decoration.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in baking and pastry arts preferred.
