About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Cook to join our team at AEG. As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality pastry and baked goods for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and bake a variety of pastry and baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and breads.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to enhance our culinary offerings.
- Work closely with our culinary team to ensure that all menu items meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with our events team to provide customized pastry and baked goods for special events and functions.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a high-volume bakery or pastry kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of pastry and baking techniques, including yeast dough production and decoration.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in baking and pastry arts preferred.
