Job Title: Private Duty Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes. As a Private Duty Nurse with Aveanna Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide one-to-one patient care in a home environment, executing physicians' prescribed plans of care and documenting care provided in our system of record. The ideal candidate will have good standing licensure (RN) in the state in which they will practice, at least 6 months of hands-on nursing experience, and current CPR certification.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one patient care in a home environment
  • Execute physicians' prescribed plans of care and document care provided in our system of record
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
  • Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease prevention
