Respiratory Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Regency On The Lake. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for residents with breathing disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate, monitor, and maintain life support systems
- Ensure staff compliance with facility and regulatory agencies guidelines
- Monitor outcomes of various respiratory care procedures
- Establish and maintain respiratory equipment par-level and required maintenance records
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
- Conduct quality assurance audits
- Conduct quality control monitoring
- Aide in the development and implementation of quality improvement programs
- Perform random resident care compliance audits
- Participate in ongoing educational programs to enhance clinical competency for self and staff
Requirements:
- Must be a certified Respiratory Therapist
- Licensed in the state
- Completion of a two-year accredited Respiratory Program
- Current CPR certification
- Prefer 2 years' experience in a long-term care setting
