At Burlington Capital Properties, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing activities related to apartment rental and renewal, including providing apartment tours, qualifying prospective residents, and preparing LIHTC and Section 8 documentation.
As a Leasing Consultant, you will maintain excellent resident relations by providing superior customer service, working with residents to provide solutions, and participating in resident promotions or functions.
You will also represent the property community in a positive manner and convey the benefits of the community to prospective residents.
To be successful in this role, you will need excellent customer service, follow-up, and follow-through skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively and interact positively with residents, employees, vendors, and the general public.
Minimum of two years sales/leasing experience or equivalent is preferred, and previous project-based Section 8 and LIHTC experience is a must.
A competitive salary and benefits package will be discussed during interviews, and post-offer drug testing, civil, criminal, and motor vehicle background screening will be required.
