Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Franciscan Health Lafayette East Campus. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety

Requirements

  • Associate Degree from an accredited program is required, BSN desirable
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state or as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
  • Experienced and new graduate Nurses are welcome

Work Environment

This is a full-time position available with alternating weekends. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a 27-bed cardiac care unit. Patient ratios are acuity dependent, and you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population.
