Job OverviewAt B and D Auctions, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Auction Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting in the preparation and execution of our biweekly auctions, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Photograph and catalog incoming antiques and collectibles with precision and attention to detail.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, both in-house and on-site, with a focus on building strong relationships and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks, as well as the handling and moving of large items.
  • Participate in the biweekly auction process, including photographing, cataloging, and organizing the warehouse floor.
  • Assist with shipping items to buyers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Contribute to a unified and motivated team environment, fostering a positive and productive work atmosphere.

Requirements
  • Experience in photography, particularly product photography.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
  • Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Familiarity with eBay or other online sales platforms is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
