Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Temple University Hospital. As a Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a safe and therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Treat and evaluate patients, administering advanced nursing care in a particular clinical specialty area.
  • Perform a wide variety of patient care activities, including diagnosis and prescription of medical therapeutics in collaboration with and under the direction of a licensed physician.
  • Contribute to a safe and therapeutic environment that is centered on the needs of patients, caregivers, and others, demonstrating concern for patient privacy, comfort, and emotional state.
  • Treat patients with consideration to age, race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic background, and culture in a caring, ethical, and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Masters Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing program.
  • 2 Years experience as a nurse practitioner (preferred).
  • 1 Year experience in a clinical specialty practice (preferred).
  • 1 year outpatient/ambulatory experience (preferred).
  • Experience in an EPIC environment (preferred).
  • CRNP - PA Cert Reg Nurse Practitioner (required).
  • RN-LIC - PA Registered Nurse License (required).
  • PRX-AUTH - Prescriptive Authority (preferred).
  • BLS - Basic Life Support (required).
Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm.
