Job Summary

National Property Management Associates Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our residential community.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair, with experience in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. You will be responsible for overseeing maintenance personnel, communicating with the property manager, and completing service requests in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings and mechanical systems to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Perform routine maintenance of electrical systems, including replacing light bulbs and sockets, and cleaning and repairing circuit breaker panels
  • Assist in the setup and repair of ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems
  • Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure proper functionality
  • Inspect alarm systems and schedule repairs as needed
  • Perform manual repairs, including fixing locks and replacing windows
  • Conduct appliance repair and troubleshooting
  • Perform general upkeep procedures, including pool maintenance and other tasks as assigned
  • Be on call for property manager-assigned responsibilities

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in the multi-family industry
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, drywalling, painting, and other maintenance processes
  • Knowledge of general maintenance methods and tools
  • Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
  • Good physical condition and strength
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • HVAC certification

Compensation: $27 per hour

Wages are determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, skill set, and internal equity.
