Job Title: Electrical Project Engineer - Construction Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer - Construction Specialist to join our team at iParametrics. As a key member of our Construction Department, you will be responsible for coordinating electrical elements and ensuring the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate electrical elements and ensure compliance with project design and construction documents.
  • Work closely with design professionals, clients, and subcontractors to resolve complex coordination issues.
  • Interface with area managers and subcontractors to resolve field coordination items.
  • Interpret design and construction documents, technical manuals, and quantify materials required for construction.
  • Organize and facilitate training of client personnel in the operations and maintenance of electrical elements and systems.
  • Receive and distribute change documents issued by other team members.
  • Field survey layout of control lines and benchmarks.
  • Serve as the technical advisor at the onsite field construction office.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years of commercial building experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, construction management, architecture, or equivalent degree and/or equivalent field work experience.
  • Ability to coordinate civil, architectural, structural, and MEP systems within the overall project design.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all aspects of construction.
  • Excellent time-management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work while frequently interrupted by phone calls and questions on work in progress.
