**Responsibilities:**
* Assist in the assessment, planning, and implementation of individualized treatment programs for patients under the supervision of a registered nurse.
* Administer medications and obtain diagnostic tests in accordance with established protocols, while ensuring patient safety.
* Assist healthcare practitioners in medical or minor surgical procedures and implement nutrition and therapeutic diet plans as ordered.
* Document nursing encounters using the SOAP form of charting and communicate information to nursing staff and other relevant personnel.
**Requirements:**
* Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
* 1-2 years of acute medical experience.
* Current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment.
* Ability to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
