Key Responsibilities

We seek dedicated professionals who will embody the principles of Regency Hospital, focusing on patient-centered care, enhancing community health, and continuously seeking improvement in clinical practices.

In this role, you will utilize your expertise and independent judgment to assist patients and their families in navigating the challenges of illness within the hospital setting.

  • Conducting comprehensive patient assessments.
  • Fostering ongoing quality enhancement initiatives.
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families.
  • Establishing treatment objectives and developing individualized care plans.
  • Collaborating to address patient-specific and facility-wide challenges.
  • Involving in discharge planning, including patient education and necessary equipment.
  • Overseeing Physical Therapy Assistants and students in training.
  • Implementing tailored therapy programs for patients.
  • Evaluating patient responses to therapy and adjusting treatments as necessary.
  • Completing required documentation in accordance with departmental standards.
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development through seminars and training sessions.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of patient needs, ensuring that every individual feels acknowledged and supported. You are committed to delivering high-quality care and possess the ability to think critically in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum qualifications include:

  • Successful completion of all educational requirements for state licensure in Physical Therapy.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained by the start date.

Preferred qualifications that will enhance your success:

  • Previous supervisory experience is advantageous.
