Nutrition Therapist

Geisinger is seeking a skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nutrition therapy, with the ability to develop and implement evidence-based plans to meet patient needs.

In this role, you will assess individual needs through synthesis of information obtained through assessment interviews, food and nutrition histories, and medical records. You will then develop personalized plans, including recommendations for diet composition, meal patterns, and supplements.

You will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop goals related to patient care and document initial assessment plans and progress in the medical record. Additionally, you will evaluate nutritional status, make recommendations for optimal care, and counsel individuals on normal nutrition and therapeutic diets.
