Land Surveyor Position

Job Title: Licensed Professional for Geospatial Services

We are seeking a skilled Surveyor to join our team at Veenstra & Kimm Inc in Rock Island, IL. As a licensed surveyor, you will be responsible for determining property lines and boundaries using measurements of surveying equipment.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in surveying and hold an Illinois Survey license or be able to obtain one within 12 months. Experience with AutoCAD is also required. You should possess strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, along with benefits including medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, and supplemental insurances. Your primary responsibilities will include performing office work such as deed research and creating base mapping utilizing AutoCAD software, conducting research and analysis, title reports, ROW/E, land title surveys, topography, and mapping, preparing easements, plats, and surveys, and ensuring project legal documents are completed and signed.
