Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at Gateway Dental Group and Orthodontics. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinicians in providing exceptional patient care and delivering the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE).

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of patient care, office, and laboratory duties to support the success of our clinicians.
  • Prepare patients for oral examination and assist other dental professionals in providing treatment to the teeth, mouth, and gums.
  • Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment, and ensure equipment is properly sterilized and disinfected.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and vendors to ensure seamless patient care and office operations.
  • Participate in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and other meetings as required to stay informed and aligned with company goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Equivalent to high school diploma or general education degree (GED), and specified training courses as mandated by state for certification, licensure, or registration.
  • Certificates/Licenses/Registrations: As mandated by applicable state.
  • Valid driver's license and automobile insurance, or reliable means of alternate transportation.
  • Ability to travel to multiple offices per day, in some cases several times per day.

Preferred Qualifications

  • One-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
