Job Summary
We are seeking a Seasonal Contract Registered Nurse to join our team in a clinical float position. As a clinical float nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in various departments and units within the hospital, gaining valuable experience and skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate assigned patients and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, providing support and ensuring the highest level of patient care.
- Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
- Promote patients' independence by establishing care goals and teaching patients and families to understand their conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of one year of related work experience and be deemed competent.
- Must have current FL RN license.
- Must have and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
- NIHSS certification is required.
- Previous Cath Lab experience is necessary.
