CommonSpirit Health is seeking an experienced Orthopedic Surgeon to join our busy practice in Kearney, Nebraska. Our practice is part of a highly respected and established Orthopedic program at CHI Health Good Samaritan Hospital.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Orthopedic Surgeon to enjoy immediate ramp up and take advantage of an extensive referral network. Our team consists of 2 MDs and 4 PAs, with a dedicated hospital-based PA for IP care.
The clinic is attached to CHI Health Good Samaritan hospital, providing easy access to OR and in-clinic x-ray facilities. Our hospital has a dedicated unit for orthopedic patients, as well as a highly respected and established Joint Center program and top-rated orthopedic program.
As an Orthopedic Surgeon with our practice, you will have the opportunity to work in state-of-the-art operating rooms, pre and post-patient care areas, and an outpatient surgery center. You will also have the chance to rotate trauma call 1:8 and collaborate with a 24/7 Hospitalist team.
Responsibilities- Patient Care
- Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories.
- Communication
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Provide clear and concise medical information.
- Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.
- Documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
- Diagnostic Procedures
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.
- Perform procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.
$302.88 / Hourly - $364.15 / Hourly
