We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technician to join our team at Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation. As a Cardiovascular Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting the surgical team during operations and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the surgical team in preparing the surgical suite, moving patients, and cleaning the area.
- Provide aid in exposure, homeostasis, and other technical functions to ensure a safe and successful operation.
- Perform activities that demonstrate technical accountability and participate in ongoing educational activities.
- Assist in providing intraoperative care and safely utilizing equipment and supplies based on patient needs.
- Graduate of an accredited school of technologist with a certificate of graduation or equivalent experience.
- One year of general experience as a Surgical Technologist in an acute care facility, with a minimum of one year of experience in CV surgery, including cardiac surgery.
- BLS certification within 14 days of hire date.
