Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated houseperson with outstanding interpersonal skills who is enthusiastic and detail-oriented to ensure our guests enjoy a remarkable stay at Delta Hotels by Marriott.

This role requires a versatile individual capable of handling a range of responsibilities. Key duties include maintaining cleanliness in hotel common areas such as corridors, meeting spaces, and lobbies.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect all assigned floors at the beginning of each shift and throughout the day to gather waste, used linens, and other items as instructed by management.
  • Deliver requested items to guest rooms, including amenities, rollaway beds, cribs, bedding, and linens.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, and other work areas.
  • Proactively listen and respond to guests' needs to provide exceptional service.
  • Restock linen supplies on each floor by transporting clean linens to housekeeping storage areas.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent certification (GED) is required.
  • Strong work ethic with excellent time management, organizational, and communication abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of cleaning methods and products.
  • Commitment to prioritizing guest satisfaction with a proven background in customer service.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a houseperson, housekeeping, or similar role within the hospitality industry.
