Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Medication Aide to join our team at Avalon Springs Health Campus. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by administering medications, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications to residents as prescribed by their healthcare providers
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medication administration, including dosages, times, and any adverse reactions
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and other members of the care team to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements
  • Certified License for QMA (Qualified Medication Aide) or CMA (Certified Medication Aide)
  • Experience working in a long-term care or home care setting (preferred)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
