Painters Assistant

Hi-Vac Corporation is seeking a skilled Painters Assistant to join our team in the Paint Department of our manufacturing facility. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality paint finishes for our industrial equipment.

• Prepare equipment for painting, including cleaning and preparing surfaces, inspecting quality of parts, and filling cavities and dents with putty.
• Clean and maintain paint booths, conveyors, hoses, spray heads, brushes, and nozzles.
• Properly dispose of paint waste and hazardous materials.
• Assist the Painters in preparing parts for painting and inspecting finished products.
• Operate a forklift to move equipment and materials as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Training in autobody or a related field.
• Experience in industrial painting is a plus.
• Forklift experience is a plus, but not required.
