We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team, focusing on substation projects. As an integral part of our project team, you will be responsible for the detailed electrical design and project management of high voltage substation projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Conceptualization: Take an active role in conceptualizing projects, working closely with other engineers and designers to develop innovative solutions.
  • Design and Development: Utilize your expertise to design and develop medium voltage power systems, ensuring they meet client requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with clients, designers, and project managers to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Investigate, troubleshoot, and solve complex electrical engineering issues that arise during project execution.

You will also have the opportunity to prepare reports presenting technical and project information in a clear and concise manner, meeting client requirements and S&L formats.

Qualifications:
  • BSEE Degree: Hold a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program.
  • Experience: Possess 3 or more years of experience in designing medium voltage power systems.
  • Skills: Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to prioritize work, manage multiple projects, and track project information.
  • Proficiency: Be proficient in MS Office applications and have experience reviewing design drawings created by others.

A PE license and experience with AutoCAD and ANSI/IEEE/NEMA standards are highly valued but not required.
