Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the precision and suitability of all prescriptions by conducting thorough Drug Utilization Reviews and Final Quality Assurance in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Drive business profitability and script expansion through recommended clinical initiatives, including immunization programs and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
  • Align departmental performance objectives with measurable metrics to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy management to oversee inventory control, track sales, and order pharmaceutical stock to meet customer needs.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing medical inquiries and providing healthcare guidance.
  • Supervise Pharmacy Technicians and support staff, assisting in their training and development.
  • Assume full management responsibilities in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager.
  • Maintain open communication with pharmacy operations to ensure the success of our services.
  • Ensure the security and compliance of the Pharmacy department with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Resolve customer issues and inquiries to foster trust and loyalty.
  • Engage with healthcare professionals to gather information on prescriptions and address any arising concerns.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized Pharmacy environment.
  • Prioritize and complete departmental tasks in a timely manner, including inventory management and customer will-calls.

Supervisory Duties: This role includes overseeing pharmacy technicians and executing supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies. This encompasses interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating associates.

Qualifications: To excel in this position, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree (BS), a Doctoral degree (PHARM.D.), or an equivalent qualification in Pharmacy, along with Immunization Certification from an accredited organization.
