Job Summary

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, to ensure optimal performance and image quality.
  • Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or a related modality.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with accuracy and efficiency.
