About the Role:

Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is looking for dedicated Pool Servers to join our vibrant team. You will assist guests in crafting seamless and memorable experiences by the pool. As a Pool Server, you will possess a keen eye for detail, warmly greet guests, deliver food and beverages, anticipate their needs, and be well-versed in our cocktail and menu offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage menu items to guests, highlighting their origins, flavors, and preparation methods; relay guest orders, including any special requests, to the kitchen using the hotel's point-of-sale system; manage food timing; verify completed kitchen orders against the guest's original order; and deliver items to guest tables promptly to ensure optimal food quality.
  • Anticipate guest needs, assess satisfaction, and offer suggestions while responding promptly and appropriately to any concerns or requests.
  • Accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card transactions; and manage voided checks or complimentary meals effectively.
  • Assist in the breakdown, cleaning, and setup of tables, buffets, and food stations.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of two years in food service or a related field.
  • Ability to carry and balance a tray.
  • Proficiency in processing cash and credit card transactions accurately.
  • Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Effective communication skills with both co-workers and guests.
  • Must possess legal work authorization in the United States.

Schedule & Hours:
  • Open availability is preferred; flexible weekend availability is required.
  • This is a part-time position, requiring 3-4 days of work per week.
